<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus which enables good-looking printing even if applying, especially, a printing data deformation function and a size automatic adjustment function to time printing data showing the time in connection with the printing apparatus equipped with the printing data deformation function and the size automatic adjustment function. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 55 produces time stamp data by the counted result of present time with a counting timer 20 and an expression pattern established while making out deformation time stamp data for a predetermined period based on the time stamp data (S12). The CPU 55 specifies the maximum time stamp data according to the printing range concerning these time stamp data (S13).
