<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint imaging device including an optical fiber plate with a plurality of optical fiber arrays on a two-dimensional imaging element with a plurality of pixel arrays, capable of acquiring an image which is hardly affected by moire in authentication. <P>SOLUTION: In the fingerprint imaging device with the optical fiber plate arranged on the two-dimensional imaging element, an optical axis of the optical fiber inclines at a predetermined angle with respect to an emission surface of the optical fiber plate. The predetermined angle is θ, a pixel interval along a predetermined direction of the pixel array is Lp, an optical fiber interval along a same direction as that of Lp of the emission surface is Lf, an optical fiber interval along the same direction as that of LP when the optical axis of the optical fiber does not incline with respect to the emission surface is Lfv. Lf is obtained by Lf=Lfv/Sinθ. Lp is different from Lf, and Lp/2<Lf<2Lp, and 2/ä¾(1/Lp)-(1/Lf)¾}<500 μm is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
