PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of condensed water in an exhaust manifold when exhaust gas of a fuel cell is supplied to the exhaust manifold.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine of this invention includes: an exhaust manifold 19 arranged on a turbine upstream side of a turbocharger; a fuel cell 4; an exhaust passage for supplying the exhaust gas of the fuel cell to the exhaust manifold; a cooling water passage 40 connected to an engine body 2, the exhaust manifold and the fuel cell; and switch means 47 and 48 for switching the cooling water passage so as to supply the cooling water after passing through the fuel cell to the exhaust manifold when the engine body is stopped and the fuel cell is operated. |
