PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone hydrogel which has a high content of an acrylamide monomer and is transparent and excellent in balance between moisture content and wettability.SOLUTION: There is provided a silicone hydrogel which is obtained by polymerization of a polymerization stock solution containing a plurality kinds of monomers, where the polymerization stock solution contains 30 to 98 wt.% of at least one kind of silicone monomer based on the total amount of the monomer and the polymer component and contains 1 to 50 wt.% of one kind of non-silicone type (meth)acrylamide monomer having two or more hydroxyl groups in the molecule based on the total amount of the monomer and the polymer component. |
