<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition coating apparatus which has excellent energy efficiency and is smoothly operated.SOLUTION: An electrodeposition coating apparatus 1 includes: a degreasing tank 2 which contains a degreasing liquid; a chemical conversion tank 4 which contains a chemical conversion liquid; an electrodeposition tank 6 which contains an electrodeposition liquid; a heat pump 10 that heats a heating medium (warm water) in pipes 12 and 22, which heats the degreasing liquid and the chemical conversion liquid, and also cools a cooling medium (cold water) in pipes 16 and 26, which cools the electrodeposition liquid; a pump 50 for adjusting a heat burden of the heating medium for the heat pump 10; a temperature sensor 54 for cold water, which detects a returning cold temperature that is a temperature at which the cooling medium returns to the heat pump 10; an alternative heat source Z for assisting the heating of the heating medium; and an automatic controller which is connected to the temperature sensor 54 for cold water and the alternative heat source Z, controls the heat burden for the pump 50 according to the returning cold temperature obtained from the temperature sensor 54 for cold water, and also adjusts heat quantity to be supplied from the alternative heat source Z.</p> |
