<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable miniaturization and cost reduction of a printer body. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 2 includes a conveying passage 50, a sheet re-feed conveying passage 52, and a printed wiring board 80. The partial region of the conveying passage 50 extends along one side face 4a of the printer body 4 in a vertical direction. The partial region of the sheet re-feed conveying passage 52 is arranged so as to extend along one side face 4a between one side face 4a and the partial region of the conveying passage 50 in a vertical direction.
