Disclosed are a method and a system for providing user customized information, and a recording medium for performing the same. The method for providing the user customized information from a device for augmenting user cognition which communicates with a server, comprises the following steps: recognizing emotional state of a user by sensing bio-signals of the user; generating external environment information by sensing the external environment of the user; transmitting the emotional state and the external environment information of the user to a server; receiving user customized information searched based on the emotional state and the external environment information of the user from a user customized information database of the server, and outputting the same to the user; and generating feedback information on the outputted user customized information, and transmitting the same to the server to update the user customized information database.
