<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device having satisfactory luminous characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The surface mount LED (light-emitting device) 100 includes: a substrate 1, where a nonpolar electrode layer 6 is formed on an upper surface; an LED element 20 mounted on a prescribed region of the nonpolar electrode layer 6; a plurality of polar electrode layers 3, 4 that are formed on the upper surface of the substrate 1 and supply power to the LED element 20; and a reflecting frame body 30 that is made of a metal material with aluminum as a main constituent, where an inner surface 31a is set to be a reflecting surface for reflecting light from the LED element 20. The reflecting frame body 30 is bonded to the nonpolar electrode layer 6 by a conductive adhesive 10 composed of a silver paste so that the LED element 20 is surrounded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
