<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely register biological information by simplifying necessary procedures and to prevent intervention from outside by reducing the manpower as much as possible in a system for registering a plurality of biological information, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The biological information, etc., to be registered includes face information, finger information, a signature, height information, weight information, etc., of a person, and devices for obtaining the information are incorporated in a box which the person can enter so that all the biological information can be obtained inside the box. The apparatus can prevent substitution of the person (impersonation) by combining various sensors. The system is for registering the obtained biological information, etc., in a database via outside personal computer terminals, etc., by a communication means such as a LAN. In the system, the box-shaped apparatus can be remote-controlled and monitored by the outside personal computer terminals connected by the communication means, so that a staff can obtain and register the biological information by the remote control.
