PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer image receiving sheet capable of obtaining a printed object excellent in the resistance against light extraordinarily and free of generation of a poor appearance on the printed object owing to discoloration.

SOLUTION: The heat transfer image receiving sheet includes a dye receptacle layer on one surface of its base sheet, wherein the dye receptacle layer contains characteristically a benzil methacrylate polymer whose glass transition temperature Tg is 45-80 °C.
