<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for pigment-based ink for inkjet with the storage stability improved even in the case of using a large size pigment particle for improving the printed image density without the risk of pigment settling or ink stagnation in the printer, ink for inkjet, and a technique related thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a pigment dispersion comprising a step of dispersing a mixture containing 25 wt.% or more of pigment, a sodium naphthalene sulfonate formalin condensation product as a dispersing agent, and a 2-ethyl-1,3-hexane diol with a medialess mill for dispersing the same to have the average particle size in a range of 100-500 nm at the time of terminating the dispersing operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
