Heat carrier oil plant and method for operating the same

The system (1) has a device for controlling a heater (3) depending on a film temperature actual value determined by a temperature determination device. The heater controlling device comprises a device (27) for controlling a pump (11). The pump is controlled to produce volumetric flow of heat carrier oil in heater pipes (5) of the heater. The volumetric flow of the heat carrier oil is adjusted depending on the determined film temperature actual value such that the determined film temperature actual value does not exceed film temperature maximum value. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a heat carrier oil system.
