The device has a base with an opening (6) arranged between an open type top furnace and a closed type bottom furnace communicating with a pipe. The opening is equipped with front and rear flaps moving between a closed position in which the flaps seal the opening and an open position in which the flaps forms a passage (10) between the furnaces. The flaps have front and rear maneuvering units formed of hinges, for maneuvering the flaps between the positions. The maneuvering units are arranged in front and rear main edges of the flaps to fold the flaps towards the top furnace in an open position.
