<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for knitting a glove retaining a state naturally curving when attaching, fitted to the hand to make feeling of wear good, and hardly producing wrinkles on the finger and the palm when holding an article, and to provide a glove obtained by the knitting. <P>SOLUTION: The method for knitting a glove includes lessening the number of knitted stitches of a palm side near a knitting width center of a finger bag 2, compared to both end parts, by using a flat knitting machine, and knitting S2-S6 without using a knitting needle e-1 of BB of the palm side to be a further wide area, and further knitting S12-S14 by a knitting needle E-J of FB of a back side to be a narrow area to S7-S9. As a result of the knitting, the number of the knitting stitches on the palm side near the knitting width center of the finger bag 2 increases in an almost symmetrical form, compared to both end parts.
