<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw fastening device for automating the fastening work to fasten a drill screw on a workpiece.SOLUTION: A screw fastening device for fastening a drill screw in a workpiece comprises: a holding unit for holding the drill screw releasably at a fastening preparation position; a drive unit disposed above the fastening preparation position for engaging with the drill screw held at the fastening preparation position, to rotate the drill screw; a lifting unit for lifting the drive unit relative to the drill screw disposed at the fastening preparation position; and a suction space forming unit enclosing the pushed portion of the drill screw with respect to the work thereby to form an internal space to be evacuated.</p> |
