<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of rotating a developing roller at a constant speed while reducing the parts cost and the production cost. <P>SOLUTION: A constant velocity joint 70 is used as a connection means that connects a roller shaft 5k, as a driven shaft, which is disposed in a developing unit 5 and transmits a drive force to the developing roller 5g, and a drive shaft 91 which is rotated by a drive force from a drive motor 81, as a drive source, which is disposed in an apparatus body. It is therefore possible to rotate the developing roller 5g at a constant speed and prevent image defects such as uneven print density without improving the attachment accuracy and parts accuracy for preventing formation of the offset angle θ between the drive shaft 91 and the roller shaft 5k. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
