<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of compactly mounting a double-pipe heat exchanger around a tank with high workability. <P>SOLUTION: In this water heater 1, a reheating heat exchanger 78 is composed of the double-pipe heat exchanger, and a first straight portion 781a and a second straight portion 782a are formed by bending work. A fixing member 140 for fixing the first straight portion 781a and the second straight portion 782a, has a first fixing portion 141, a second fixing portion 142 and a connecting portion 143. The first fixing portion 141 fixes the first straight portion 781a, and the second fixing portion fixes the first straight portion 782a. The connecting portion 143 is positioned between the first fixing portion 141 and the second fixing portion 142, and connected with a horizontal member 130.
