<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle bulb capable of transmitting light emitted from a light source to a light guide tube efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle bulb employs a type which guides light from a light source by a light guide tube 7 and lights a lamp. In this vehicle bulb, a base portion 8 provided with a first light source 1 and a second light source 2 is installed on a main body 5, and an arm 9 is fitted to the base portion 8 in free opening and closing, and the second light source 2 is provided at the tip of the arm 9. Then, the second light source 2 is made to face the light-receiving end face 7a of the light guide tube 7. Light from the first light source 1 is reflected by a reflecting mirror 4 and received by a transparent resin ring 6, while the light from the second light source 2 is received by the light-receiving end face 7a of the light guide tube 7 opposed to this. With this structure, compared with the case in which light is supplied to the transparent resin ring 6 and the light guide tube 7 from one light source, utilization efficiency of light can be enhanced greatly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
