The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery which is unequipped with a separation membrane. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the lithium secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode in which a positive electrode active material layer is formed on a positive electrode current collector; a negative electrode in which a negative electrode active material layer is formed on a negative electrode current collector; and an inorganic layer positioned between the positive electrode and the negative electrode facing each other, and comprising inorganic particles and a binder, wherein the inorganic layer is bound to both the positive and the negative electrode active material layer.
