The present disclosure generally relates to a plow bit (2), a bit holder (4), and a plow bit assembly (1) including the plow bit (2) and the bit holder (4). The plow bit (2) comprises a bit shank (10) including a front shank face (24) being concave, and a rear shank face (26). The rear shank face (26) is disposed on an opposite side of the bit shank (10) with respect to the front shank face (24). The bit shank (10) further comprises a first lateral shank face (28) including a first groove (30) extending from the front shank face (24) in direction to the rear shank face (26) for receiving a securing pin (6). The concave front shank face (24) facilitates pivoting the plow bit (2) into a recess (34) of the bit holder (4).
