摘要 According to a combining structure for a hub of a wheel bearing and an outer race of the present invention, the weight of the outer race can be reduced by replacing a serration in the outer race with a slant serration. Therefore, the driving efficiency of a vehicle wheel can be increased by the reduced weight and the reduction of manufacturing costs can be expected from reduction in material costs. Particularly, the replacement and repair of a wheel bearing is facilitated by fixing the lower part of the outer race using a bolt after combination with the serration and damage to the serration caused by a bending load can be prevented by increasing stiffness with respect to a load owing to the short and thick outer race. The combining structure for a hub of a wheel bearing and an outer race comprises: an outer race rotating by receiving the driving force of a vehicle power device, having a nut part formed at one side, and having a serration with a slant groove part; a hub combined with the inner circumference surface of the serration of the groove part of the outer race, having a protrusion serration formed thereon and transmitting a driving force to a vehicle wheel; a ball bearing including an outer ring combined with the outer circumference surface of the hub and rotating while enveloping the hub and bearing balls for assisting rotation and including an inner race having a protrusion serration formed to be combined with a serration groove part on the outer circumference surface of the outer race while preventing the separation of the bearing balls between the outer ring and the outer circumference surface of the hub; and a lock nut combined with the nut part of the outer race.
