摘要 <p>The invention relates to a system, without moving parts or electrodes, for obtaining thrust vectoring capability in space plasma thrusters with a substantially axial magnetic field or without an applied magnetic field, as well as to the associated operating method. The system comprises three or more non-aligned conductive coils (1) located at the outlet of the thruster, coaxially therewith, which coils are powered electrically and independently with direct current and capable of generating a magnetic nozzle (6) that guides the expansion of the plasma and optionally laterally deflects same. The operating method comprises the selection of the electric current in each coil in order to alter the direction of the magnetic nozzle as desired and, consequently, that of the ejected plasma jet and the thrust vector within a wide angular range.</p>
