<p>According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate including a common electrode, and a pixel electrode which includes a central slit and a peripheral slit which are opposed to the common electrode. The central slit and the peripheral slit are arranged in a first direction and extend in a second direction crossing the first direction, the central slit being formed at a central part of the pixel electrode and having a first width in the first direction, and the peripheral slit being formed at a peripheral part of the pixel electrode and having a second width in the first direction which is less than the first width.</p> |
