<p>The purpose of the present invention is to enable a captured image having a desired color tone to be obtained regardless of endoscope systems when capturing an image by an endoscopic camera under the illumination light from a probe. A configuration (1) comprises an external video signal receiving device (14) for receiving a video signal (92) from an endoscope (8), a correction signal extracting means (23), and an image processing means (24). The correction signal extracting means generates a color tone correction signal on the basis of the color tone characteristics of a video signal of an image that is captured using the illumination equipped in the endoscope and is input from the external video signal receiving device and the color tone characteristics of the illumination light from a probe. The image processing means performs, according to the color tone correction signal, correction processing on the color tone of a video signal (31) of an image captured while illuminating with the illumination light from the probe and thereby performs a color tone correction with reference to the color tone characteristics of a video signal of an image captured using the illumination equipped in the endoscope. Another configuration (M1) uses a color filter to adjust the illumination light from the probe. Still another configuration (N1) switches safely and timely from the illumination of the endoscope to the illumination of the probe.</p> |
