The present invention relates to an apparatus of lifting and lowering a needle for dispensing drinking water, comprising: a three-way connection unit having an inlet pipe inserted into a drinking water storage container, a first connection pipe branching from the inlet pipe and a second connection pipe branching from the inlet pipe in the opposite direction to the first connection pipe; an inner housing having opened upper and lower portions, covering outer sides of the three-way connection unit and having a first spiral groove on a longitudinal side of an outer circumstantial surface and a second spiral groove on a longitudinal side of an outer circumstantial surface reversing the first spiral groove, wherein the first spiral groove and the second spiral groove are formed at opposite positions to each other; a rotation driving unit connected to the inner housing and transmitting a rotation force to the same; a control unit controlling the rotation motion of the rotation driving unit; and an outer housing having an opened lower portion, covering lateral sides of the inner housing, and having a first vertical groove and a second vertical groove formed on a longitudinal side of the outer circumstantial surface, wherein the first vertical groove and the second vertical groove are formed at opposite positions to each other. The first connection pipe is positioned in the first spiral groove and the first vertical groove, and the second connection pipe is positioned in the first spiral groove and the second vertical groove. As such, the three-way connection unit connected simultaneously to the vertical groove and the helical groove is controlled to move vertically as the rotational motion of the rotation driving unit is controlled to rotate solely the inner housing, and the outer housing is to be fixed to the same position. |
