PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe for ultrasonic diagnostic apparatuses configured to discretionarily add or remove various functions according to a requirement of an operator, while retaining a compact ultrasonic probe shape, and probe system using the probe for ultrasonic diagnostic apparatuses.SOLUTION: A probe 10 according to the present invention includes: a head section including a plurality of ultrasonic transducers and having a contact face in contact with an examination object, the contact face being a part of a circle or a sphere; a cylindrical body section continued from the head section; and a connecting section for connecting another module to the contact face of the head section and/or an end of the cylindrical body section. The module such as an operation module 50 and an elastography module 30 is configured to be connectable to the connection section of the probe and is connected to the probe as necessary, to be used as the probe system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
