The present invention provides a device for controlling a variable spoiler, controlling a grade of a variable spoiler by using global positioning system (GPS) information and vehicle information, thereby improving stability in driving a vehicle on a typical road and a specific drive course and achieving an optimum lap time. The device for controlling a variable spoiler comprises a spoiler control part for controlling an operation of a variable spoiler including a spoiler wing and a spoiler actuator capable of changing a grade of the spoiler wing. The spoiler control part selectively figures out road information on a drive section where the vehicle is currently located, determines an operation mode of the variable spoiler from a typical road mode and a circuit road mode depending on the road information, and controls the grade of the spoiler wing based on information on various vehicles and information on a current road where a vehicle runs, which is obtained from a GPS. |
