Disclosed is a side thruster for a vessel. According to the present invention, a blade of an impeller faces left and right sides in a lateral direction of a vessel. Therefore, the side thruster is capable of forming a small diameter of a discharge pipe as the diameter of the discharge pipe of a conduit, installed in a lateral direction of the vessel, is not influenced by the length of the blade. Hence, since the volume of the side thruster and an installation space for the side thruster are reduced, the prime cost is reduced. Moreover, since a pace control module and a casing for an existing side thruster are not necessary, the prime the more cost can be reduced. The present invention includes: a conduit including a discharge pipe; and an impeller discharging water from an inflow pipe to both sides of the discharge pipe. |
