Provided are an author terminal included in an educational content production system and a method for generating a virtual body using the same. The disclosed author terminal comprises: a first camera which photographs a first image of a head of an instructor; a second camera which photographs a second image of a remaining body of the instructor, exclusive of the head; a speaker which receives voice of the instructor; and a virtual body generation unit which generates a first virtual image of a head of a virtual body of the instructor including a facial expression of the instructor by using the first image and the received voice, generates a second virtual image for the remaining body of the instructor, exclusive of the head, by using the second image, and generates the virtual body by combining the first virtual image with the second virtual image. |
