摘要 Disclosed is a fault detecting device in a battery pack producing process and a method thereof, comprising: a voltage measuring unit to measure the voltage of each cell in warehousing of a cell, modulation, and pack processes during the battery pack producing process; a storage unit to store a cell voltage reference by each process of the battery pack producing process and a voltage variation reference between the processes; a fault discrimination unit to compare the voltage of each cell measured by the process in the voltage measuring unit and a voltage variation by each cell between the processes with the cell voltage reference by each process and the voltage variation reference between the processes stored in the storage unit and to determine a fault or fair quality of a battery pack which is currently being assembled depending on a comparison result; and a control unit to control the release of the battery pack which is currently being assembled depending on a fault or fair quality determination in the fault discrimination unit based on the voltage measurement of each cell by each process in the voltage measuring unit and data measured in the voltage measuring unit, and a determination result of the fault discrimination unit. Thus, the present invention can perform the production of a high-quality battery pack and prevent the quality degradation of a secondary battery product caused by an outflow of a faulty battery pack.
