Disclosed is a method for generating data which shows the structure of a room in a device comprises the following steps of: outputting predetermined sound signals at first and second locations in the room, and obtaining the first and second reflection signals about the outputted predetermined sound signals, respectively; estimating distance information about the room by using the obtained first and second reflection signals; obtaining at least one angle information about the room; and generating a floor plan of the room, which shows the structure of the room, by using the estimated distance information and the obtained angle information. |
