PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic steel sheet whose iron loss deterioration occurring when blanked is suppressed and which is therefore excellent in high frequency iron loss.SOLUTION: There is provided the magnetic steel sheet which has a component composition containing, by mass%, an average Si amount of 4 to 7% in a steel sheet superficial layer part, an average Si amount of 5% or less in a steel sheet inner layer part, Cr:0.3 to 5.0%, As:0.01% or less, Se:0.005% or less, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. The magnetic steel sheet has an Si concentration gradient in which the Si concentration is higher in a sheet thickness surface than a sheet thickness center part in a sheet thickness direction. In the magnetic steel sheet, an average Si amount in the steel sheet superficial layer part is 0.5 mass% or more higher than an average Si amount in the steel sheet inner layer part, and a ratio of a thickness of the steel sheet superficial layer part is 0.10 to 0.70 of the sheet thickness. The steel sheet superficial layer part is a steel sheet part having the Si concentration equal to or higher than the average Si amount in the whole sheet thickness of the steel sheet and the steel sheet inner layer part is a steel sheet part having the Si concentration less than the average Si amount of the total sheet thickness of the steel sheet. |
