The present invention relates to a primer for identifying jellyfish. The present invention further relates to a method for identifying jellyfish using the same. More specifically, the primer of the present invention enables the simultaneous identification of 9 species of jellyfish living in domestic coast when the jelly fish is in the stage of polyp and strobila. Therefore, the primer of the present invention can be useful for regulating the population number of jelly fish and studying bio-diversity.
