<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent generation of condensation water at an outlet side intake of an intercooler provided at an intake pipe with a simple and low-cost means. <P>SOLUTION: In a diesel engine 10 mounted on a vehicle, an intercooler 40A using a travel wind w as a cooling medium and warm air h in an engine room 74 as a heating medium is provided at an intake pipe 18. A shutter device 76 capable of adjusting an opening is provided at a travel wind inlet side of the intercooler 40A, and an electric fan 78 sending warm air h to a heat exchanging part 406 of the intercooler 40A is provided at the other side. An ECU 60 calculates water vapor content Wair of fresh air, a water vapor content Wegr of EGR gas recirculated from a low-pressure EGR device 38 to the intake pipe 18, and an allowable water vapor content (saturated water vapor partial pressure) Wm of an intake a, and adjusts the opening of the shutter device 76 or the electric fan 78 is stopped so that condensation water is not generated at an outlet side intake of the intercooler 40A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
