<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively cool an outdoor unit of an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: An outdoor unit cooling device cools a heat exchanger in an outdoor unit of an air conditioner which is installed outdoors by sprays from nozzles. A plurality of types of nozzles including a first type nozzle and a second type nozzle are arranged at the outside away from the heat exchanger by predetermined dimensions, an average waterdrop diameter in the spray from the second type nozzle is smaller than that in the spray from the first type nozzle, and the first type nozzle performs spraying for a required time at least at an operation start time to wet the outdoor unit and then stop it, and on the other hand, the second type nozzle performs intermittent spraying after the spraying stop of the first type nozzle, and cools the heat exchanger by wet cool air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
