PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool device capable of reducing a risk of clogging a water discharge line due to a large amount of machining chips flowing through the water discharge line at a time.SOLUTION: A cutting tool device is provided for cutting a base material 3a in a protective tape 3 of a workpiece 1 held on a supporting surface 21 of a holding table 20, by rotating a cutting tool wheel 35 of a cutting tool cutting means 30 and using a cutting blade 34 attached to the cutting tool wheel 35. In the device, machining chip scattering prevention wall 60 is provided which surrounds the holding table 20 and cutting tool wheel 35. The scattering of machining chips caused by the cutting is prevented by the machining chip scattering prevention wall 60, thereby preventing the machining chips from being accumulated around the holding table 20. |
