PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of determining the atomic number and concentration of a heavy element in a sample by imaging an X-ray computed tomographic image for a sample in which the elements and the concentration are unknown, in the field of health care and biology and in the field of cargo security and industrial waste and the like.SOLUTION: A measured X-ray computed tomographic image of a sample is obtained by a single energy X-ray computed tomographic device using a polychromatic beam X-ray source, and a computer simulation of the X-ray computed tomographic image generation assuming a plurality of concentrations of a plurality of elements is executed, and an element in which a result of the quantitative analysis of the obtained radiation quality hardening is similar to the result of the quantitative analysis of the measured X-ray computed tomographic image of the sample is specified as the element of the sample, and thereby the sample is analyzed. |
