PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction tubing assembly for connecting a suction channel of an electrosurgical instrument to a vacuum source.SOLUTION: A vacuum source coupling end part 101 of a vacuum source coupling part 14 has two concentric tubes, namely, an inner tube 102 and an outer tube 103 of larger internal diameter than the inner tube. Because of the different diameters of the tubes, the coupling part can be connected to vacuum sources having vacuum connection pieces of two different sizes. Accordingly, often it is not necessary to invest in new vacuum sources or adapters to enable use of suction from a conventional vacuum source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 28
