PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting stabilizer whose producing process is comparatively simple, which may be produced at low cost, and which has sufficient residual resistance ratio (RRR); and a superconducting wire comprising the superconducting stabilizer.SOLUTION: There is provided a superconducting stabilizer used in a superconducting wire, the superconducting stabilizer consisting of copper material: which contains one or more supplemental elements selected from Ca, La, Ce within a range from 3 mass ppm or more to 400 mass ppm or less in total, in which the balance is Cu and unavoidable impurity, and whose total concentration of the unavoidable impurity except for O, H, C, N, S as gas component is 5 mass ppm or more to 100 mass ppm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
