In the present invention, a knowledge system that analyzes the relationship between items of information mechanically without programming for processing input information is constructed. The relationship between input information and recorded related information is analyzed, and the relationship is organized into a sentence structure and recorded. Information determined to be useful is autonomously recorded and constructed as a knowledge system, and the input information is evaluated by matching the input information to the constructed knowledge system. Then, processing according to the evaluation result is performed autonomously. Some of the words included in the information are generalized, and a significant relationship between items of information that are input successively is extracted by reinforcing a relationship between sets of patterns corresponding to the items of information. From a series of the input information, common sense and a general idea are autonomously constructed. Also, some of the words included in a series of input information about a problem and the solution thereof are generalized to autonomously generate solutions for similar problems. Words related to problem solving methods and action determining methods of human are converted to conditional processing, and the processing proceeds while checking feasibility of the conditions. |
