<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of controlling toner adhesion amount appropriately during developing. <P>SOLUTION: An optical scanner comprises: a light source having a plurality of light emitting sections; a polygon mirror for polarizing a plurality of luminous fluxes emitted from the light source; a scanning optical system for guiding the plurality of luminous fluxes polarized by the polygon mirror to a surface of a photoreceptor drum corresponding thereto; a scanning controller; and the like. The light source has eight light emitting sections or more disposed at different positions from one another with respect to at least sub-scanning corresponding direction. The scanning controller represents halftone in image data by a dither matrix with one pixel of the image data as a unit, and controls exposure energy for each pixel constituting the dither matrix. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
