<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a probe unit for photoacoustic diagnosis and a photoacoustic diagnostic apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This probe unit for photoacoustic diagnosis includes: a light illumination unit 74 for emitting measuring light to be applied to a subject; a circuit board 22 in which a drive circuit is formed; a piezoelectric body 30 formed on the circuit board 22, the piezoelectric body 30 being connected to a voltage reading portion 25a of the drive circuit as a first electrode; and a second electrode 31 formed on the piezoelectric body 30. The drive circuit includes a plurality of receiving circuits 25 that receive an acoustic signal emitted when the piezoelectric body 30 detects an acoustic wave, the plurality of receiving circuits 25 being aligned into an array shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
