MOMENTARY VOLTAGE DROP AVOIDANCE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a momentary voltage drop avoidance system which prevents a momentary voltage drop caused by reverse flashover when a steel tower or an overhead ground wire is struck by lightning.SOLUTION: A momentary voltage drop avoidance system 1 is installed in a steel tower T where a parallel two-line power transmission line including a standard insulation side power transmission line E1 and a high insulation side power transmission line E2 is supported by unbalance insulators. When electrostatic field strength detection means 2 equipped with each steel tower T detects a prescribed electrostatic field, lighting determination means 5 determines a power transmission line installed in the steel tower T where lighting is predicted. When a current value flowing in the power transmission line is a rating capacity stored in rating capacity storage means 4 or less, processing means 6 performs power cut of the standard insulation side power transmission line E1 of the power transmission line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
