PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device and an illumination device, capable of suppressing power consumption to service life notification.SOLUTION: A lighting device 1 comprises: a lighting circuit 2 which turns on a light source 7; power feeding detecting means 4 for detecting a power feeding state to the lighting circuit 2; notifying means 3 for notifying a user of a service time; time counting means 5 for counting cumulative lighting time of the light source 7; and control means 6 for controlling the notifying means 3 so as to notify the user of a service time by residual power of the lighting circuit 2 when the power feeding means 4 detects cutoff of power feeding to the lighting circuit 2 after the cumulative lighting time counted by the time counting means 5 has passed a prescribed value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
