PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that includes an opening/closing mechanism capable of easily removing paper jam with an inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a housing that has an opening formed thereon; a first positioning unit that is provided to the housing; a second positioning unit that is provided to the housing; an opening/closing door that is configured to be rotated around a rotation center to be capable of moving between a closing position to close the opening and an opening position to open the opening; a first conveying unit that has a rotation shaft and is rotatably supported by the housing; and a second conveying unit that is supported to be capable of moving, when the opening/closing door is moved to the closing position, in a direction to approach or separate from the rotation center of the opening/closing door that is a direction intersecting with the opening/closing direction of the opening/closing door. When the opening/closing door is moved from the opening position to the closing position, the first conveying unit is engaged with the first positioning unit to be positioned, and the second conveying unit is then engaged with the second positioning unit to be positioned. |
