PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purification device which can quickly and correctly grasp shortage of a fluid replacement in an air trap chamber.SOLUTION: A blood purification device comprises: a blood circuit 1; a dialyzer 2 capable of purifying blood which circulates in the blood circuit 1; a blood pump P1 disposed on an artery side blood circuit 1a and feeding the blood in the blood circuit; and an air trap chamber 5 capable of capturing air included in the blood circuit which circulates in the blood circuit 1. The air trap chamber 5 comprises: blood interface detection means 6 to which a drawing pump P3 (fluid replacement injection means) capable of injecting a fluid replacement, is connected, which can form a fluid replacement layer on a blood layer, and which can detect an interface between the blood layer and the fluid replacement layer formed in the air trap chamber 5. Based on the interface between the blood layer and fluid replacement layer detected by the blood interface detection means 6, shortage of the fluid replacement in the air trap 5 can be detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
