<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components and thereby reduce the costs and weight in a vehicle body rear part structure of a vehicle which includes a roof side panel fastened to a quarter panel and a wheel house and a wheel house gusset which has a damper attachment part, to which a damper upper part of a rear suspension is attached, and is fastened to the roof side panel and the wheel house.SOLUTION: A recessed part 24 which is recessed to the outer side in a vehicle width direction and extends in a vertical direction is formed at a roof side panel 10. An upper part of a wheel house gusset 19 is fastened to a vehicle inner side surface of a bottom wall 25 of the recessed part 24. The structure improves torsional stiffness of a vehicle body 1. Thus, the structure does not need a roof side reinforcement panel which is inevitably needed in a conventional vehicle body rear part structure.</p> |
