The device comprises horizontally oriented blades and knife (2) associated transport unit for the meat pieces (1). The lower edge surface of the knife is provided with sheet material recesses. The conveying belts (3,4,6) are provided at transport unit. The spacing between transport units on top face of the knife is more variably. The grooves are located on lower cut surface of the knife.
