The panel has a module (2) with a U-shaped metallic section (4) having two horizontal flanges (7, 7`) extending from lateral cores (6, 6`). A wire mesh (9) is integrated with the section and extends between the cores. A rock wool block (8) of the module is supported on a horizontal central zone (5) between the cores and under the mesh. A concrete layer (3) covers an entire area of the block and surrounds the mesh. An independent claim is also included for a use of a self-supporting panel for manufacturing frontages, roofing and floors.
