PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that in the case a coating film of a uniform thickness is formed on a metal foil, or in the case the coating film is intermittently formed on the metal foil, an undesired coating material is adhered onto non-coating region.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of the metal foil with the coating film, by running a belt-shaped metal foil 10 supported by a backup roll 30, a face opposing to a backup roll side of the metal foil is coated by the coating material 25. At this time, the face is coated by the coating material while reducing pressure of a space which includes a point P wherein the metal foil starts to be contacted with the outer peripheral face of the backup roll, and is formed by the metal foil on a more upstream side of a running direction of the metal foil than the point P and by the outer peripheral face of the backup roll. |
